Our board of Trustees are made up of founding members of the organisation and parents who give up their time freely. The board of Trustees are responsible for the effective governance of the Nursery and Stay and Play. It appoints all members of staff on behalf of the Association, it delegates responsibility of the effective management of the setting to the Early Years Manager.
Individual Trustees are elected at our AGM by the whole Association (the parents and teachers). The Trustees are officially the governors of the Nursery and directors of our limited company and trustees of out charity, and have a responsibility for legal and financial matters to do with the charity as a whole.

Richard was educated at Michael Hall Steiner School before going on to study music at university. After receiving his PhD in music and philosophy from the University of Leeds, he has been active both as a writer and as an educator. He is a qualified Steiner Waldorf class teacher, and is also a tutor on the North of England Steiner Waldorf Early Childhood Studies Programme.

Marilyn has been a teacher for 40 years having taught Geography for 25 years and music for 15 years. She is one of the founding members of the school.

Ingrid is a qualified Steiner teacher with a wealth of experience in Steiner Waldorf education, including early years education.
