Last month Class 3 & 4 were taken on a guided walk by Marianne Hood from the Cragg Vale Community Association. Marianne not only took us on a beautiful walk but was a fount of information on local history & geography. The children found it very interesting as you can see from their art work. They came back to school and made drawings for an exhibition which is taking place in the Robin Hood & Hinchliffe pubs. From this exhibition drawings will be selected to be used on Story Boards to be situated around Cragg Vale. This was a great introduction to our Local History & Geography main lesson. Many thanks to Marianne for a very pleasant & interesting end to the half term.
