What an amazing lantern festival we had this year, bringing light to the autumn darkness with our Steiner School community. We lit a bonfire in the school garden, strung fairy lights from the trees and the children shared the story of St Martin, who the festival is named after. As a Roman soldier, St Martin
By popular demand, we’re expanding the hours offered to our Kindergarten children to extend to 30 hours per week. Appledapple afternoons will run from 1:45 to 3pm, led by one of our experienced Kindergarten teaching assistants, to a teaching plan set by our Kindergarten teacher. This additional time together will include a snack, a story and some Steiner
Class 4/5 set out on a sunny October morning to spend a day walking in the woods; learning all about different fungi and fungi preservation with an experienced Mycologist guide. What an exciting day out for them!

Our Michaelmas festival took place today with all the children wearing their autumnal shades. It was wonderful to have all our school community together to enjoy the dragon procession, dragon subduing and share the dragon bread.
Class 2/3 have been enjoying wet on wet painting, creating beautiful patterns in blue.
