Class 2/3/4/5 have been on a trip to a Hindu Temple in Bradford. The children found the temple to be a very beautiful and peaceful place. We particularly liked the deities and the space for worship. Our guide at the temple shared a religious prayer with us

Class 4 and 5 really enjoyed there trip to Al Mahdi Mosque in Bradford, learning about Islamic faith. The children will be visiting other places of worship and plan to visit the local Catholic church in the new year.
What a beautiful and light filled Advent Spiral we had this year. The spiral is an important part of the Steiner Waldorf calendar, symbolizing finding light in the darkness.
A huge thank you to all our families, students, friends and community members who came along to our Advent Fair this weekend and made it so magical. We raised over £750 for the school, and had great fun with face painting, angel-making, puppet shows and more.
This Thursday we’re holding a wreath-making workshop for parents, carers and friends of Calder Valley Steiner School in Hebden Bridge. The workshop is free, but all wreaths will kept to sell at our Advent Fair fundraiser this weekend in Hebden Bridge. (If you’d like to take your wreath away with you after the workshop, we
