We held our beautiful Advent Spiral on the 30th November and what a wonderful experience it was for all the children.
The spiral is a picture of the never ending cycle of life. The breathing rhythm of giving and receiving is symbolised by the light. As we receive light so the darkness of the spiral is illuminated by the light we are able to offer to the world. The light is always most powerful at the darkest times.
Many thanks to the parents who bought mince pies and cake at our joint Fundraiser after the Spiral.
On Saturday 2nd December we held our Advent Fair at the Hebden Bridge Methodist Church. We managed to raise £1084 for the school! Well done to everyone who contributed with their time, cooking efforts and support on the day, we as a school massively appreciate it.
