Last term children in Class II and III learnt how to make wall hangings using wet and needle felting techniques. It is a beautiful craft that allows you to create pictures using just wool. This term the children will begin green woodwork where they will carve their own spoon or spatula.
Pupils from Class II and III recently spent a day planting saplings with Treesponsibility. The children were given a short talk on the importance of tree planting from a global perspective (Global warming) and a local perspective (controlling water flow/avoiding floods) and a general human perspective (absorbing carbon dioxide and producing oxygen).
