Before the end of the summer term Class 4 & 5 spent time at Swan Bank farm, helping make repairs and build a shelter in the vegetable garden. Squeaker the Pig and her litter of piglets gave the children a great opportunity to study the piglets development every week. The also spent a day with Dale helping to clear waterways, so the animals will have a fresh running water over winter. Dale spoke of the ancestors and how the people lived and survived the winter times on the land.
